There's no time like the present...

I've been thinking for the past few weeks about how I want to start this blog- go back to the beginning of  my pregnancy and keep it chronological? Start with Lillian's birth story? Jump right in with where she is right now (all two weeks and two days of her)?

I decided I just need to start something or I'll never do anything! I don't want to forget everything due to sleep deprivation and miss out on recording all these memories we've made!

Lillian Grace Bennett was born on June 21, 2011 at 1:47pm.
She weighed 7 pounds 12 ounces and was 20 inches long.

Here are some images of that day I don't want to forget!

My first time to hold Lillian! My mom was so impressed that my hair and makeup still looked good after giving birth. I told her we should have taken more pictures! :)

It was so surreal to hold this child in my arms after carrying her inside me for so long!

Here she is- a real person!

Lillian came out screaming bloody murder and was whisked away to get cleaned up- I asked what her APGAR score was and they said an 8 or 9- it's just like a teacher to want to know what grade she got! 

My sweet husband Greg was so amazing during labor- He pushed on my back for hours! No need to go to the gym that day! Lillian loves her Daddy- she opened her eyes and looked right up at him from the first moment she heard his voice.

God took such great care of us throughout the whole pregancy, labor, and delivery! She is healthy and doing great!
